Victoria Haggblom is a writer and translator of Swedish with a a Master of Fine Arts in English and Fiction Writing from Columbia University. Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, she has lived in New York, New Orleans, and Joshua Tree, and now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Currently a PhD candidate at the Scandinavian Department at University of California at Berkeley, Victoria has taught writing, language, and literature at Rutgers University, Deep Springs College, Johnson and Wales University, and UC Berkeley. She is at work on a novel and has received grants, residencies, and awards for her work from the Villa Lena Foundation in Italy, the Ucross Foundation, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Jentel Foundation, the Santa Fe Arts Institute, the Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry, the National Arts Club, and the American-Scandinavian Foundation, among others.
